Without preservatives, a formula must be protected at three stages: during manufacturing, during packaging, and throughout its use.
During manufacturing: UHT sterilization Our formulas are sterilized using ultra-high temperature, a patented process designed for cosmetic emulsions. The formula circulates through a closed, sealed system in three steps:
- preheating to over 70°C in a few seconds;
- passing through a temperature above 140°C for just a few seconds;
- almost instantaneous cooling.
This rapid process eliminates microorganisms while preserving the integrity of the active ingredients, including those that are heat-sensitive. This is why we prefer it to other sterilization methods, such as irradiation or gassing, which can alter an emulsion.
During packaging: aseptic filling Once sterilized, the formula is packaged in a cleanroom, within a sterile area. The part of the bottle that comes into contact with the formula is itself sterilized beforehand. Nothing contaminates it between sterilization and the sealing of the bottle.
